Pret A Manger has announced it will be re-opening its Veggie Pret stores this week, as the UK’s COVID-19 lockdown eases.
All 10 stores located in London and Manchester, will be open for takeaway from June 11. They plan on putting safety and social distancing measures in place as well.
Pret a Manger is an international sandwich and coffee chain based in the United Kingdom, which was founded in 1983. Its popularly referred to as Pret Founded and it currently has over 450 shops in nine countries including the UK.
The company also partnered with food delivery service Deliveroo, so seven of its 10 outlets (including the Manchester location) will offer deliveries.
Clare Clough, the UK managing director of Pret A Manger stressed on the companies excitement as they are about reopening stores in a statement
“We are excited to be reopening all 10 of our Veggie Pret shops this week, we know that many of our customers are working from home and missing their plant-based favorites, so partnering with Deliveroo means that more customers can access our extensive veggie and vegan menu.”

The store will also offer deliveries via Deliveroo
Deliveroo, an online food delivery company based in London, England, and founded in 2013 by Will Shu and Greg Orlowski operates in two hundred cities in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy and many more. They Have recently as they added seen a 181 percent increase in healthy orders, as many are going vegan and trying to reduce meat intake.
